The Decision/The Gospel Blues

A screenplay based on the true dichotomous life of the “Father of Gospel Music” Thomas A. Dorsey. From an early age, he played piano in vaudeville theaters, Capone speakeasies, and whore houses. He wrote 400+ songs from the Roaring 20’s to the Civil Rights Era. When mixing the Blues with Spirituals, he said, “I have been thrown out of some of the best churches in America!” After the death of his wife and infant son, Dorsey suffered from a suicidal nervous breakdown. Then, he composed two of the world’s greatest gospel standards in recorded history -  “Precious Lord (Take My Hand)” and “Peace in the Valley” recorded by many international known artist.

Blackenstein - Nada Ninguem.jpg

The Creature

A "dramedy" accented with music from the 1970’s. Created in the film genre shadows of Mel Brooks ‘Young Frankenstein’, BLACKENSTEIN reminds us of the funny things that can happen, when man forgets the real Creator, and creates another man…or something similar, after his own image, using spare parts.
(Based on the stage play Blackenstein: The Love Story, by Desi Arnez Hines)

The Last Vial.jpg

The Last Vial

A screenplay of what happens when scientists create a formula that extends life, under false pretenses. Unknown is a covert scheme, by any means necessary to develop a formula, with “profit”-ic intentions to the highest bidders, while people die, kill, and plead to live life on earth forever.
